The family business
In 1932, the transport company M. Bouw & Zonen was established. After some time, sons Gerrit, Sam and Martinus (Tiets) Bouw took over the business, and now the third generation of the Bouw family is in charge: Martien and Wouter Bouw. Martien is responsible for policy, strategy, and business development and Wouter takes care of transport planning.
Bouw Logistics is a ‘flat organisation’ in which a pleasant atmosphere and a good team spirit are a priority. After all, we achieve the best results together! So, next to working hard, room for relaxation with our colleagues is important. Whether this is in the form of a game of cards or a pleasant conversation is up to you.

- 32 1932 – the transport company M. Bouw & Zonen established
- 74 1974 – the company moved to the Gildenstraat and started with warehousing in Nijkerk
- 91 1991 – an expansion of 20,000 m2 took place at the Galvinistraat in Nijkerk
- 98 1998 – a further expansion of 5,000 m2 took place at the Galvinistraat in Nijkerk
- 07 2007 – the Beurtschipper branch opened, covering approximately 17,000 m2
- 16 2016 – the latest enlargements took place: the Smitspol branch was established, covering approximately 4,000 m2, in addition to the Gorredijk branch, covering approximately 8,600 m2
